With over 17 years of experience in the Banking and Technology sectors, I am passionate about driving transformation and delivering value through effective leadership and strategic thinking. As the Head of the Enterprise PMO (EPMO) at Boubyan Bank, I oversee the delivery of large and complex portfolios, programs, and projects across Business and IT domains. My role enables me to leverage strong commercial acumen, analytical skills, and strategic thinking to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of PMO functions and operations.

 

 I hold multiple professional certifications, including PMP, PgMP, PfMP, PMI-PMO Certified Practitioner, PMI-PMO Certified Consultant, PRINCE2, and Certified Manager. To further strengthen my leadership capabilities, I have completed advanced programs at prestigious institutions such as INSEAD and the London Business School.

Currently, I am pursuing a Doctorate in Business Administration and Management, focusing my research on the impact of AI applications on banking strategic decision making. I have had the privilege of publishing and presenting my work in international journals and conferences, reflecting my commitment to contributing to this growing field.

 

 I am deeply passionate about leading teams, managing change, and driving transformation. My focus on quality, collaboration, and compassion defines my approach to leadership. Always eager to learn, grow, and challenge myself, I strive to deliver excellence and measurable value to clients, stakeholders, and organizations.

WORKSHOP 8: Decision-Making Under Pressure – Balancing Speed and Accuracy in Project Processes

Challenge: In high-stakes or time-sensitive projects, project managers often face pressure to make quick decisions, which can lead to errors or misalignment. Participants must create solution by utilizing technology to balance speed with accuracy in decision-making.

There are different groups: each group has two roles:

  • Moderator
  • Participants
The Format:
The Moderator provides definition of the subject: Discuss challenges in decision-making during tight timelines, including lack of data and conflicting priorities. Present decision-making frameworks such as the OODA Loop and SWOT analysis. Provide guidance in technology influence to decision making and invite participant to think without any limit in creating a technology solution that accelarate decision making with accuracy.

The group starts the discussion, The moderator's role is to facilitate the discussion and design the solution, finalize it with the group and present it to the room.
