Project success is more than just finishing on time, within budget, and meeting technical specifications. True success means exceeding customer and stakeholder expectations, achieving the strategic objectives that justified the project, and delivering measurable value, like financial returns or operational improvements. This presentation explores how involving stakeholders in defining a measurement program during project planning can significantly increase the chances of success. It introduces the Goal-Question-Metric Paradigm, a stakeholder-centric method for creating measurement programs that drive business impact and stakeholder satisfaction.
