Project manager
I initially pursued my career in the oil and gas industry, earning a degree in its economics and management. However, my path took an unexpected turn and I started working in the trade market domain as a technical customer support specialist, and this experience sparked my transition into the IT field.
Over the past 15 years, I have progressed through roles such as quality engineer, automation engineer, web designer, business analyst, and project manager and still continuing to balance these roles today. This diverse journey has given me a multi-dimensional perspective on every task I undertake, enabling me to integrate insights from various disciplines into my work.
Specializing in the healthcare domain, I lead and execute initiatives for a range of clients, from individual practitioners developing applications for their clinical needs to large organizations, including U.S. hospitals and e-healthcare solution leaders. My work revolves around Agile frameworks, enabling me to adapt methodologies based on project specifics, enhance team collaboration, and optimize workflows for efficiency and further scalability. Beyond project execution, I have mentored project managers who now successfully lead their own initiatives and built long-term client relationships, with many returning due to positive past experiences.
I believe in continuous learning and work-life balance, as people are the key value and main resource for a project's success. This mindset helps me drive efficiency, adaptability, and strong decision-making as a project manager while keeping my teams productive and resilient under pressure.
Being part of the healthcare department of a vendor company, I'll share insights on IT development for U.S. government-funded grant projects. These projects come with unique challenges, such as balancing business, legal, and technical requirements while working with non-technical leaders like research directors and clinicians. Our solutions help patients manage illnesses and support medical research, but we often face strict budgets, evolving requirements, and small teams wearing multiple hats. Customer processes can be unclear, and available technologies aren’t always the best fit. To tackle these challenges, we rely on clear communication, proactive collaboration, and adaptable development. Each project teaches us something new, helping us refine our approach and create better outcomes for everyone involved.
